As a company committed to sustainability, Himalaya is reducing the waste arising from product packaging to minimize waste generation. In addition to exploring a viable replacement for plastic packaging, we have implemented a process to collect, recycle, process, and responsibly dispose of the plastic waste generated from post-consumer use. Customers return the product containers to the store and redeem the discount against a product they buy. Himalaya stores across India collected 736,195 units of containers.

Our campus in Bengaluru is a zero-waste facility. We are committed to creating a sustainable economy by recycling discarded materials and resources for other use. We have been awarded the ISO 14001:2004 certification, a globally recognized standard for environment management.

Himalaya is partnering with the Indian Tobacco Company's (ITC) Wealth Out of Waste (WOW) program. Since the start of the project, 116,820 kg of wastepaper has been recycled.
